Innoworks Benefits You May Have Overlooked
As we continue to enhance our suite of benefits for all clients, we’d like to remind you of one that you may have overlooked. AFLAC’s BenExtend Plan bolsters your employees’ coverage with supplemental benefits that standard health plans don’t cover. The base coverage is 100% paid for by Innoworks as a client benefit for all client employees who opt-in to the coverage plan
This plan features the most actively used benefits of Accident, Hospital Indemnity and Critical Illness insurance, consolidated into one simple plan. The plan includes benefits for hospital admission and confinement, ambulance, fractures, and more, plus a lump sum payment for a covered critical illness such as cancer, heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, etc.
Opting in also allows you to offer the following extended supplemental AFLAC benefits to your employees1:
- Group Accident Insurance helps pay costs that arise from covered accidents such as fractures, dislocations, and lacerations. This plan provides non-occupational coverage, and a guaranteed-issue amount is offered to all eligible applicants. The plan also includes a $50 Wellness benefit.
- Group Critical Illness Insurance helps pay the expected and unexpected expenses that arise from diagnosis of a covered critical illness such as cancer (internal or invasive), heart attack, stroke, end-stage renal failure or a major organ transplant. This plan includes a $50 Health Screening Benefit.
- Hospital Indemnity Insurance helps pay the costs associated with a covered hospital stay, including benefits for hospital confinement and hospital admission. Guaranteed-issue coverage options are offered to all eligible applicants during the initial enrollment and for new hires thereafter. The plan does not include a wellness benefit.
- Short-Term Disability Insurance helps protect your income in the event that you are unable to work. There are two plan options available.
